Credit cards no longer marketed on campus

In 2009, Congress passed a law banning credit card companies from issuing cards to individuals who are under the age of 20 and unemployed. The first phase of the law took effect on Feb. 22, 2010, while the remaining phases took effect on Aug. 22.
